Nestled near Patoka lake, this cabin sleeps 7 comfortably, (could sleep up to 9-10 if kids are sharing the full size beds) with 2 full bathrooms. Ideal for families, it's close to French Lick Resort and Casino, Big Splash Waterpark, Paoli Peaks and Holiday World! The cabin features a cozy interior, modern amenities and a rustic charm, perfect for creating lasting memories that will bring you back again and again.

Good to know

Reconnect at our family’s personal cabin near Patoka Lake. We are family-friendly retreat that can sleep up to 10. Set on a wooded acre with a serene view, the cabin is minutes from Patoka Lake’s entrance and the renowned Patoka Winery. The area offers plentiful hiking trails, golf courses, and the Historical French Lick hotels are within a 20-minute drive. Drive 30 miles to ski at Paoli Peaks or spend the day riding roller coasters at Holiday World. Spend time on the front porch or screened back porch relaxing and enjoying the view. For your convenience a gas grill is available. Enjoy s’mores around the fire pit, or on cooler nights, playing board games or stepping back into time with our retro game system. Fully furnished with a washer/dryer onsite for your convenience. Please note that two of the bedrooms are in the open loft area.

Other Details to Note

- Gas grill is located on the side. A tank will be provided, but gas is not guaranteed, however, there occasionally could be some left from a previous guest. -A fire extinguisher and first aid kit are located beneath the sink. -There is NO dishwasher. A washer and dryer are in the downstairs bathroom for your convenience. -Drive is gravel and somewhat steep. Will accommodate 3 cars. If boat parking is needed, please contact us for options. -A FREE lake pass is provided in the guestbook. Failure to return the lake pass will result in a $75.00 replacement fee.

House Rules

While our cabin is perfect for family gatherings, it is NOT a place to hold a party. No additional guests on property at any time other than the number of guests listed in the reservation. Please observe the 15mph speed limit and quiet hours. A minimum of a $125 fine for each of the following: Smoking of anything inside the cabin or on porches Pet damage or extra cleaning due to pets Events or parties Damage to the cabin Late check out Additional requirements for pets: Bag all pet waste from yard and place in out door garbage can No pets on furniture. If you leave the cabin, your dog must be crated. Dogs only, no cats. By staying in the cabin, you are acknowledging and agreeing to our NO smoking and NO party policy. If you do encounter a concern on the property, we require a reasonable amount of time to rectify the situation. Due to the rise in scams, our property manager will need to verify any issue in person or our cancellation policy will remain in place.

Beautiful get away to a cabin surrounded by trees and landscaping. The fire pit was relaxing and beautiful with big comfortable chairs. Beautiful front porch and screened in back pt. The cabin was clean and comfortable. They were quick to respond with anything we needed. I'm looking forward to going again. Hopefully in the fall when leaves change colors. I took 4 teenagers and an 8 yr old. They loved it as well. Great place to stay to go to Marengo cave and Holiday World

Our family loved staying at the Toasted Marshmallow Cabin. It had plenty of space, was clean, comfy, peaceful, and had amazing front and back porches. We made use of the lake renting a boat for two days from the marina which was about 25 minutes away. Will definitely recommend and look to stay here again! Thank you!

our family had a amazing time, the upstairs was where the kids wanted to hang out and watch movies . we enjoyed eating out on the deck the fans are a great addition to the bug screen out there. I noticed the screen stretched under the deck too which is really smart with it being in the woods. the fire pit was perfect as well and the host had marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers already there with telescoping roasting sticks ready to use. we appreciated that when we ran out of our own. My family and I say thank you for being such a great host. everything was thought of it seems like, from having and shoue organizer by the door to the extra s'mores set-up, cleaning supplies and cooking supplies ready. Thank you.

This was such a cozy and inviting cabin to stay in! It was exactly as pictured and all amenities listed were present. The back porch was a perfect place to relax with our family and the cabin had many games for our kids to choose from. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

Our family had a great time. The home is delightful. We watched lots of wildlife visiting the property. The list includes deer, a ground hog, a very vocal couple of woodpeckers, squirrels, a raccoon and more birds than I can name. Drinking morning coffee on either the front porch or screened porch was a treat each day. The proximity to the lake is a huge plus. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We hope to return soon.

We will definitely be back! The amenities were great, they even had supplies for s’mores!! Airbrt was very responsive and understanding about my sensitivities to artificial smells. Ensuring there were no artificial/chemical smells used or in the cabin when we arrived. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful!!

Loved our stay here! Felt secluded yet it was not a far drive to enjoy experiences. Beds were comfortable, and the loft area made a great hangout spot. Really enjoyed the screened in back porch, especially the creek flow. Our host had plenty of blankets, and amenities for our stay. The s’mores kit was a great touch, we got to enjoy that the first night! Plenty of indoor activities and games since we had some rainy days. Definitely recommend if anyone is planning a trip to French Lick or Patoka Lake!

We all enjoyed our stay at the Toasted Marshmallow. The cabin was just as described. Centrally located to all of the sites we wanted to see in and around French Lick. Would highly recommend and the next time we visit this area will make sure we reserve our dates at the Toasted marshmallow.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay here. The cabin was clean and cozy, with enough space that we didn't feel on top of each other. The kids loved roasting marshmallows outside and listening to birds chirping on the back porch. The cabin was the perfect location for our day trip to Patoka lake. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We really enjoyed our trip and would absolutely return again in the future.
