This is a centrally-located 3 BR, 1 full and 2 half bath historic home that sleeps 10. We are just minutes from downtown Louisville and a block from Historic downtown Jeffersonville with restaurants, activities and the Big Four walking bridge to downtown Louisville.

We really enjoyed this old charmer with its modern interior. The place was very clean and ready to move in an hour earlier than expected. This was appreciated as we were renting due to our own house being fire damaged. The kitchen was awesome. Fully stocked with every dish you could need. They even had coffee and condiments for the coffee lovers. Plenty of trash bags and paper towels for a typical stay. Really nice appliances with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Big fenced in backyard which our two fur babies loved. There were a few things that came up where we needed to contact the host. Nothing that was their fault. Just normal things that happen to homeowners in their own place. The host was very responsive and got the issues resolved as quickly as possible. The location is awesome and close to the walking bridge and Louisville. This is our hometown but we enjoyed our time downtown.

Richard helped us out of a tight spot when we came into town and we couldn't be happier. The only issue we ran into was some plumbing and he offered to have it fixed asap. The house was exactly as described and the parking, entry and location couldn't have been better. We are grateful for Richard and his communication, service and clean, safe property!

We are 9 miles from the Louisville airport (SDF) and 3 miles to the KFC Yum Center and the Louisville Slugger Museum. We are located 8 miles (10-15min drive) from Churchill Downs and everything is easily accessible by car. Uber/Lyft is readily available and many things are within walking distance. There are 4 main bridges (2 are toll bridges) that cross from Indiana to Kentucky, and a walking bridge across the river for pedestrian traffic only. Prepaid toll passes can be available at the property upon request.
